It was 2004 when a very young Edoardo Molinari took part in the World University Golf Championships in Bangkok, ranking seventh in the final Top Ten, shortly before graduating in Engineering at the Politecnico of Torino.
In Thailand, the President of CUS Torino Riccardo D’Elicio and the General Manager Andrea Ippolito were also present at the event and took the flag for the Torino 2006 Championships. After Bangkok the career of the great golfer has taken off collecting one success after another.
Today Edoardo is back to talk about the World University Championship Golf, hosted for the second time in Piemonte, his own Region, on the Green that he knows so well: Royal Park Roveri at La Mandria. A precious message that the great champion wants to share with the athletes from all over the world who will participate in the event from July 20 to 23, 2022, and with the public that will follow every “swing” from the first tee to the 18th hole with bated breath.
