Rendez-vous in 2024: this is how 2022 FISU World University Championship Golf of Torino concluded with the handover of the flag from Italy to Finland. The final banquet at the JHotel was a great celebration of sport that recalled the four days of World University competitions that the athletes shared on the green of the Royal Park I Roveri at La Mandria.
Present at the closing ceremony on Saturday, July 23, all 18 participating federations along with institutions: Riccardo D’Elicio, President of the Torino University Sports Center (organizer of the event), Leonz Eder (FISU Acting President) and Andrea Tronzano (councillor for Budget and Finance of Region Piemonte).
Also thanked during the evening was Hyunwoo Kim (Jasper) from South Korea. As a FISU volunteer, Jasper represents the soul of this important sport appointment and he received a big applause from everybody for his nice and always friendly commitment.
