Lucas Nicolas Fallotico: golf? It’s a family affair!

Lucas Nicolas Fallotico 19 years old from Cernusco sul Naviglio (Milan, Italy), fifth in the Italian rankings, started playing golf as a child and dreams of turning professional after studies.

Your father is a professional golfer: can we say that golf is a family affair for you?

I started playing golf thanks to my father, who used to take me on the green with him since I was very young, I must have been more or less two years old. With time and practice, it turned from a game into a passion. Last year I decided to go to America, attending Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers majoring in Marketing Management, so I could continue to play golf competitively without stopping studying. My goal? I have no doubt: to turn professional.

How is the competitive season going?

I would say well, I am very satisfied. I just won the International Championship of Italy Under 16 and the International of Spain Amateur. Now I am looking forward with excitement to the 2022 FISU World University Championship Golf! I am very curious, it is the first time for me at such an event and I expect a lot of competition, but also fun.

You have already played at Royal Park I Roveri before: what can you tell us about the golf  course?

I have played there more than once and it is a very nice golf course, but also a complicated one. It challenges you from the first tee shot and will be a good test for everyone. I can add that knowing the team very well, we have been playing together since we were 12 years old, and also the course, we have a lot of cards to play!
